Green Show Inspirations.

In March, the Main Street Gallery on Muir Street in Cambridge will offer a 'green' show. As a participant in many of the organization's shows, I had no trouble thinking of ideas for things to make for the show.

The first project shows a display of dragonfly pins and combs that were requested at the last gallery show. The second project was a paper mache head that I painted with house paint and embellished with broken jewelry and pot scrubbers.

The last creation was made with an old framed print, lots of styrofoam, the corrugated paper from light bulb packages, candy liners, plastic votives and a bunch of things I found under the kitchen sink.

It is amazing all the things you can find when you are looking at stuff you should have thrown away.

That's all I know today. Hope these projects inspire your own green art. Love! Terry
